Job summary

UNC Health Care is seeking a Wellness Center Attendant for the Meadowmont Wellness Center in Chapel Hill. You will greet guests, assist with equipment, and enforce center rules across front desk, pools, climbing wall, and fitness floor.

This per diem role requires no prior experience; CPR within one month and Lifeguard preferred. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills are essential for delivering a safe, friendly member experience.

• Ability to greet guests, answer questions and direct members appropriately.
• Strong multitasking and time management abilities in a fitness environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with front desk duties and program registration.
• Direct members to services, answer questions and handle check-in processes.
• Maintain clean, organized center areas and assist opening/closing procedures.
• Record information in logs, maintenance logs and wear safety procedures.
• Provide equipment orientations and basic instruction for gym activities.
