Job summary

UNC Health Care System operates a Northwest Cary Wellness Center seeking a Wellness Center Attendant. You will greet guests, assist with equipment, enforce rules, and help keep the center clean and welcoming.

The role includes opening/closing duties, safety oversight, and basic CPR if required. No prior experience is required, but CPR certification within a month and Lifeguard certification within 90 days are preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities.
• No prior experience required.
• CPR certification within one month from date of hire.
• Lifeguard certification within 90 days from date of hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide guest services at the Wellness Center.
• Assist with center equipment use and program registration.
• Enforce center rules and maintain a clean, organized facility.
• Support opening and closing procedures and daily maintenance logs.
• Provide safety supervision, basic first aid, and emergency response as needed.
• Educate guests on policies, scheduling and services offered.
• Attend trainings to improve knowledge of wellness center operations.
