Job summary

UNC Health in Cary, NC seeks a per diem aquatics attendant to ensure member safety and maintain the Northwest Cary Wellness Center pool. You will answer questions, monitor users, and perform routine cleaning while keeping the pool at proper temperatures and chemical levels.

The role requires CPR and Lifeguard certification; experience with customers with special needs is a plus. Onsite schedule is variable with 15.20 hours per week and a competitive hourly range.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification is required.
• Experience working with consumers with special needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and responds to requests from members regarding aquatics facility and services.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the swimming pool by following the daily cleaning checklist and managing pool equipment and areas.
• Monitors pool users to ensure safety; administers first aid, water rescue, or CPR if needed; enforces center policies.
