Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a per diem Aquatics Attendant at the Northwest Cary Wellness Center in Cary, NC. You will answer member questions, maintain pool cleanliness and safety, monitor chemical levels, and ensure proper pool conditions throughout shifts.

The role requires CPR and Lifeguard certification, with preference for those who have experience assisting individuals with special needs. Onsite work with flexible hours, straightforward duties, and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification required.
• Experience working with consumers with special needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and responds to requests from members regarding aquatics facility and services.
• Maintains pool cleanliness and safety, monitors chlorine and pH levels, and ensures proper temperatures and depth.
• Administers first aid, performs water rescue when needed, and enforces pool rules and Center policies.
