Job summary

BODYBAR Pilates in Dallas is seeking a Marketing and Events Coordinator to drive local brand awareness, build community partnerships, manage social media content, and coordinate in-studio or pop-up wellness events. This is a part-time role requiring 15-25 hours per week, with occasional weekend, early-morning, or evening work, reporting to the Studio Manager or Owner.

The role demands marketing know-how, content creation for Instagram/TikTok/Facebook, copywriting, design with Canva or Adobe

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field.
• 1+ year experience in marketing, social media content creation, event coordination, or boutique fitness/hospitality operations.
• Fluent in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with social media platforms and scheduling tools; Canva or Adobe Suite; Mariana Tek familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Social Media Management: Plan and manage content calendars for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, including Reels, Stories, and instructor spotlights.
• Copywriting and Design: Write engaging class/event descriptions, email newsletters, SMS campaigns, and design simple graphics using Canva/Adobe Suite.
• Local SEO & Reputation: Maintain accurate information on Google Business Profiles and local listings to boost visibility.
• Promotional Collateral:Design, print, and distribute in-studio signage, flyers, and retail materials.
• Event Planning & Execution: Plan, promote, and execute studio workshops, themed classes, brand-building pop-ups, and community tabling events.
• Partnerships & Networking: Build relationships with local businesses for cross-promotions and community wellness events.
• On-Site Management: Oversee event setups, guest check-ins, vendor/logistics, and live troubleshooting.
• Lead Capturing: Collect attendee info at events and guide them toward intro-class bookings.
• Follow-Ups: Work with front desk/sales to convert trial clients to memberships.
• Metrics & Reporting: Track attendance, engagement, and lead-to-member conversion.
