Job summary

YMCA of the Cedar Rapids Metro Area in Oshkosh, WI seeks a friendly Fitness Attendant to clean and sanitize equipment, manage orientations, and assist members. This part-time role requires standing most of the shift, lifting up to 60 lbs, and weekend/evening availability.

Prior CPR/AED/First Aid certification is preferred or training can be provided. You will help create a welcoming culture by greeting members and engaging them in conversations, while maintaining a high level of service and

• CPR, AED & First Aid Certification (will train if needed)
• 18 years or older
• Availability required: Weekday nights and weekends
• Must be able to stand or be on your feet 75% of shifts
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize fitness equipment in wellness center.
• Provide and schedule orientations and schedule appointments for members.
• Maintain at least one shift per month.
• Assist members as needed.
• Build relationships daily and create a culture of philanthropy by using names and initiating conversations with all members, staff, volunteers, and guests.
