Job summary

The YMCA of Central Stark County is seeking a part-time health and wellness professional who is outgoing, motivated and able to engage health seekers of all ages with fun strategies to reach total well-being.

Shifts are Monday to Friday midday and closing, with possible weekends; starting rate is $11.30/hr. The role emphasizes building member relationships, keeping wellness trends in mind, maintaining equipment, and helping members reach their goals.

Qualifications

• Candidate must provide service to members in a safe, enjoyable environment that promotes healthy member well-being and engagement.
• Experience working with people from different backgrounds, abilities, opinions and perceptions.
• Background in exercise science or related field preferred, but willing to train.
