Job summary

The YMCA of Central Stark County is seeking a part-time health and wellness professional to support members of all ages in Canton. You will work various weekday daytime, afternoon, evening and occasional weekend shifts, starting at $11.30/hr, within a welcoming wellness center environment.

You will build relationships, stay current with wellness trends, ensure safety and proper equipment operation, and help members reach their goals, while enjoying member perks and staff discounts.

• Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds, abilities, opinions and perceptions.

In Search Of:

• An out going, motivated, part-time health and wellness professional dedicated to helping health seekers of all ages reach their total well-being goals using fun and engaging strategies.

Available Shifts:

• Various weekday daytime, afternoon, evening and occasional weekend shifts

Starting Rate:

• $11.30/hr

Qualifications:

Candidate must be able to provide service to members in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes healthy member well-being and engagement

• Experience working with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions and perceptions.
• Background in exercise science or related field preferred, but willing to train.
