Job summary

Penn State Campus Recreation is seeking a Work Study Well-being Attendant to help maintain the well-being room, assist patrons, and support well-being initiatives within our community.

This on-campus, part-time role requires strong customer service, the ability to schedule reservations in Fusion, safety awareness, and completion of required Penn State LRN trainings; starting wage is $13.00 per hour, with opportunities to grow through Campus Recreation programs.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and proactive decision-making required.
• Ability to interact positively with student staff and patrons.
• Ability to work independently.
• Complete Penn State LRN training(s) as required.
• Must work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
• Maintain accurate availability in When-To-Work.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends.
• CPR/First Aid certification after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons and provide exceptional customer service.
• Schedule and assist patrons with reservations in Fusion software.
• Greet guests and verify ID via Fusion.
• Educate patrons on wellbeing initiatives and Penn State Flourish model.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the well-being room.
• Open and close procedures for the room.
• Troubleshoot equipment and address room issues.
• Support Well-being Manager with staffing concerns.
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
