Job summary

The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a Well-being Attendant for Campus Recreation, IM Building. You will help maintain the well-being room, assist patrons, and support wellness programming.

This role requires customer service, scheduling in Fusion software, safety, and completing Penn State LRN training; minimum 10 hours per week with some early mornings, evenings, or weekends. Successful candidates will uphold policies, ensure a safe, clean space, and help with opening/closing duties

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to be proactive in decision-making.
• Ability to positively interact with student staff and patrons.
• Ability to work independently.
• Work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
• Attend all required Penn State LRN training(s).
• Balance time commitments and be receptive to development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing exceptional customer services to patrons.
• Schedule and assist patrons with reservations in Fusion software.
• Greet and check for proper identification via Fusion facility management software.
• Educate patrons on well-being initiatives and Penn State Flourish model.
• Keep the well-being facility clean and organized, including lounge area and chairs.
• Promote a culture of respect and trust among participants.
• Uphold the risk management plan for student staff and respond to emergencies.
• Ensure well-being room is safe, secure, and operational.
