Tidewater Tech is seeking a Program Coordinator to supervise faculty, manage daily operations, and coordinate program activities. You will support curriculum development, class scheduling, and equipment management to ensure a high-quality educational experience.

The role requires strong organization, detailed record-keeping, and the ability to collaborate with Education leadership. Occasional after-hours work and local travel may be necessary to support program success.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities required.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced educational environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Program Coordinator in managing all aspects of the program, including supervision of faculty and staff and performing administrative functions.
• Assist Education directors with curriculum, scheduling, and equipment management.
• Complete instructor and course evaluations regularly.
• Conduct meetings, participate in trainings, and document proceedings.
• Take minutes and document actions from meetings.
• Assist in staff hiring, disciplinary actions, and dismissals.
• Assign classes and teaching duties; stand in as substitute instructor when needed.
• Provide tutoring opportunities and advise students on academic progress.
• Audit curricula to ensure up-to-date syllabi and textbooks.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local regulations and accrediting bodies.
• Monitor student performance on projects and maintain documentation in systems.
• Ensure supplies and tools are inventoried and maintained.
• Assist in development of training aids and curriculum-aligned materials.
• Collaborate on OSHA compliance and safety improvements.
• Participate in mentoring and onboarding of new employees.
• Support FAA knowledge and exam readiness for students.
• Support tutoring, remediation, and FAA certification outcomes.

Educación

High School Diploma or GED

Undergraduate or graduate degree preferred
