Rheem Manufacturing Company in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Welding Technician for the Water Heater division. The role focuses on welding functions across GMAW, SAW, and Resistance Welding, including robotics integration.

You will optimize welding processes, plan improvements, and help maximize profits while maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities include maintaining parameter sheets, troubleshooting welding equipment, monitoring processes and leak rates, and producing daily reports

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of five years welding process experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain Parameter Sheets on all Welding applications.
Troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of welding equipment.
Monitor all welding processes including GMAW, SAW, and Resistance Welding.
Monitor leak rates in Commercial and Residential departments.
Plan improvements for maximization of company profitability.
Maintain a safe workplace environment and adhere to safety requirements including PPE.
Monitor welding processes and materials to detect and resolve future problems.
Ensure weld reliability and integrity across all welding processes.
Establish working relationships with Maintenance, Supervisors, and Superintendents.
Provide daily reports to Welding Engineer.
