Job summary

Wabash is seeking Welders to join our manufacturing team, performing MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Employees may be required to pass tests or attend our in-house Weld School to qualify for production work.

Responsibilities include reading engineering prints, following weld symbols, maintaining safety and quality standards, and performing basic equipment maintenance. The role demands working at heights and adherence to PPE policies.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass Weld Tests associated with product line.
• Must pass respirator fit test.
• Basic reading, writing, math & verbal skill.
• Capable of following and understanding engineering prints, specifications & instructions.

Responsibilities

• Own and help improve our performance in Safety, Quality, and Delivery.
• MIG and/or TIG weld at a level that meets quality standards.
• Read engineering prints, weld symbols, and follow specifications.
• Basic operator preventative maintenance for welding related equipment.
• Work at heights of 15-20 ft.
