Job summary

Wabash is seeking skilled welders to join our team. You will weld carbon steel, stainless and aluminum using MIG and TIG processes, read engineering prints, and ensure products meet stringent quality standards. Training is provided to pass company weld tests and respirator fit tests.

Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screen and respirator test, and are expected to work safely in a loud, dynamic production environment with PPE requirements and regular shift routines.

Qualifications

• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass Weld Tests for product line.
• Must pass respirator fit test.
• Basic reading, writing, math & verbal skills.
• Capable of following engineering prints and specs.

Responsibilities

• Own and help improve safety, quality, and delivery.
• MIG/TIG weld carbon steel, aluminum, stainless to spec.
• Read engineering prints and weld symbols; follow instructions.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on welding equipment.
• Wear PPE and work in appropriate safety gear.
