Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; one or more years of experience preferred.
• MIG (GMAW) welding of carbon steel required.
• Ability to interpret welding blueprints and call-outs; read measurements.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints to determine welding process.
• Weld with minimal quality issues.
• Measure weldments with quality control equipment.
• Perform basic fit-up for welding on stock and standard products.
• Meet minimum production requirements.
• Inspect welds for structural soundness.
• May train others.
• Abide by OSHA and FSC safety rules.
