Job summary

Spur One Inc. is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to cut, shape, and assemble raw steel into defined structures based on blueprints. You will read shop drawings and apply welding techniques to fabricate components accurately.

Work can be solo or in a team, requiring endurance to stand for long periods and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Familiarity with safety standards is a plus. This role offers hands-on fabrication in a workshop setting and opportunities to grow with a dynamic metal

Qualifications

• Experience reading shop drawings and blueprints for structural components.

Job description

Fabricator/Welder will use various techniques to cut, shape, and assemble raw steel into pre-defined structures according to blueprints, must be proficient in interpreting shop Drawings for Construction of all types of structures. Utilizing tools like cutting torches, welding machines, and other metalworking equipment to create the necessary components and assemble them into the final structure, requiring strong mechanical skills, above average knowledge of welding techniques. Ability to work alone and with team members. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Lift or carry at least 50lbs

Knowledge of AISC quality standards, Safety certifications, Forklift certifications a Plus but not required.
