Job summary

Paycom - ATS Paola, KS is seeking a skilled welder for third shift to perform manual and semi-automatic welding on various materials. You will ensure welds pass RT/UT tests and verify conformance to drawings, standards and WPS.

Responsibilities include pre-heat and post-heat operations, gouging, record-keeping, and assisting other welders. Comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs and operating related equipment. Safety and quality are essential in daily duties.

Qualifications

• Must pass ASME code welding test (GMAW, FCAW, SMAW).
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and weld symbols.
• Maintain safety compliance and follow WPS and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and semi-automatic welding per WPS.
• Ensure welds meet RT/UT requirements.
• Verify conformance with drawings and specifications.
• Maintain welding records and material traceability.
• Perform pre-heat and post-heat operations.
• Carry out gouging operations as needed.
• Assist and train other welders as required.
• Operate crane/forklift for material handling.
• Keep work area clean and follow safety rules.
