Job summary

GFL - Sewer Technologies Division is seeking a skilled Welder to perform welding, fabrication, cutting, grinding, and painting for solid waste handling equipment and fleet. You will participate in repairs, maintenance, and customization to keep operations running safely and smoothly.

The role requires 2+ years welding experience (or a formal welding certification) and the ability to work in a shop environment, lift up to 25 lbs regularly, and operate safely in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years welding/fabrication experience or formal welding certification.
• Ability to provide basic personal hand tools and safety gear (e.g., helmet/shield).
• CDL preferred but not always required.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment to fabricate and repair solid waste handling equipment.
• Prepare surfaces and apply finishes as needed.
