Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking an assembly technician to join the team in the US. You will assemble gasket plate heat exchangers using diagrams and blueprints, perform quality checks, document processes, and collaborate with teams to maintain a clean and safe workspace.

You will learn fast, read weld maps, and be able to pass multiple welding tests. The role requires adherence to PPE requirements, teamwork, and willingness to work occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate proper PPE use and safety procedures.
• Be able to read and interpret weld maps/diagrams.
• Pass three welding tests (6G Tig pipe, 1G Tig titanium plate, 2G flux core).
• Perform quality welds and document processes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble gasket plate heat exchangers using diagrams and blueprints.
• Record daily work and participate in team discussions.
• Operate crane and forklift safely to move components.
• Maintain clean, organized workspace and support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals and timelines.
