Job summary

Alfa Laval in the United States is seeking a production assembler to join our team. You'll assemble gasket plate heat exchangers using hand/power tools, read blueprints, follow SOPs, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

You will contribute to quality checks, record data, participate in 5S and KAIZEN improvements, train across departments, and support production goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong manual dexterity and ability to follow detailed blueprints/instructions.
• Ability to read and apply blueprints and SOPs in a fast-paced setting.
• Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement (KAIZEN/5S).

Responsibilities

• Assemble gasket plate heat exchanger components using hand and power tools.
• Perform quality checks and document processes per company standards.
• Maintain clean work area and adhere to safety PPE requirements.
• Capture data on quality documentation and production metrics.
• Collaborate with team; participate in daily status and KAIZEN improvements.
• Cross-train across manufacturing processes to support department needs.
