Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum 10–12 years industry experience in welding and welding supervision with a minimum 3 years Bechtel experience.
• Knowledge of Bechtel’s Zero Accident Philosophy.
• Experience supervising field activities and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field construction operations within assigned area.
• Determine workforce requirements and coordinate area operational plans.
• Schedule work and review progress by each craft.
• Monitor activities and ensure quality of work.
• Ensure the most current design document is used and changes approved.
• Approve craft time records using automated tools.
• Prepare reports and forecasts including construction progress and expenditures.
• Prepare Field Material Requisitions and ensure tool readiness.
• Monitor subcontractor activities for compliance.
• Implement corporate/project policies within operations.
• Coordinate activities with other disciplines and client representatives.
• Conduct employee reviews and development planning.
• Maintain safety standards and Zero Accident Philosophy.
