Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a skilled welder for second or third shift. You will interpret drawings, prepare materials, and perform welding in all positions, including brazing and pressure welds, with consideration for heat treatment and fit-up.

This role offers voluntary overtime, shift differential, and benefits. Candidates must follow safety standards, operate gas and electric welding equipment, and complete tasks from start to finish while keeping work area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret sketches and drawings and select welds.
• Make welds with proper amperage and gas settings.
• Meet codes and ensure weld quality.
• Wear protective equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Work in various positions and handle material prep.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions and prints regarding work assignment in shop.
• Set up, assemble, and prepare items for welding.
• Perform welding in all positions, including pressure welding.
• Preheat, post heat and flame anneal parts and welds.
• Dismantle assemblies and cut materials to size and shape.
• Clean and finish welds; maintain material flow.
• Procure parts, materials and supplies as needed.
• Keep work area clean and free of debris after each job.
