Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a skilled welder to perform FCAW and SMAW welds in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions, with overhead welding a plus. The role requires reading shop drawings and engineering details to fabricate weldments per AWS D1.1.

The candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds, work with grinders, saws, drill presses, and forklifts, and adhere to safety PPE protocols. Multiple shifts are available, including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Ability to weld with FCAW and SMAW.
• Weld in 1G, 2G, and 3G positions; overhead welding a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand shop fabrication drawings.
• Read and understand engineering details.
• Fabricate and assemble weldments from shop drawings and sketches.
• Weldments must conform to AWS D1.1.
• Lift up to 50 pounds; climb, bend, twist, stand, and reach as required.
• Operate grinders, saws, drill presses, forklift, and related equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace.
• Wear and use PPE (helmet, sleeves, gloves, boots, glasses, ear protection).
• Shifts available: 1st, 2nd and 3rd; some Saturdays.
