G&W Electric Co. is seeking a Quality Weld Inspector for the 1st shift (5:00am to 1:30pm) on the manufacturing floor. The role focuses on inspecting welded and fabricated parts to ensure conformance with drawings, WPS, and quality standards.

You'll work with Welders, Team Leaders, and Quality Engineers to identify defects, document nonconformances, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Strong attention to detail and knowledge of welding processes are essential.

Formación

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, tolerances, and welding symbols.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality and workmanship issues.

Responsabilidades

• Perform pre-weld, in-process, and final inspections according to drawings, specifications, inspection plans, and procedures.
• Inspect welded assemblies for compliance with drawings and welding codes; identify defects.
• Inspect dimensional aspects and verify critical dimensions, tolerances, and squareness.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and product traceability; ensure NCR/NCMR documentation when needed.
• Support root-cause investigations and continuous improvement efforts on the manufacturing floor.
