You will perform dimensional checks, NDT where applicable, and document findings, collaborating with welders and production staff to drive timely corrective actions. The role requires 3+ years in quality inspection or welding in manufacturing, knowledge of ANSI/AWS/ISO welding symbols, and the ability to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quality inspection or welding experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of welding symbols and standards (ANSI, AWS, ISO).
• Proficient in using measurement and inspection tools.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in heights, confined spaces, and varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect welded components and assemblies for compliance with drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Perform dimensional checks, visual inspections, and applicable NDT methods.
• Identify weld defects such as cracks, porosity, and undercutting.
• Document inspection findings and corrective actions clearly and traceably.
• Collaborate with welders and production staff to ensure timely corrections and improvements.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement within the welding department.
• Maintain complete quality records according to internal policies and industry standards.
• Monitor adherence to welding procedures and machine settings during production.
