Job summary

Loenbro in Dallas seeks a Manager – Welding & Process Improvement to advance welding technology, manufacturing processes, and automation across the fabrication network. You will establish standardized practices, improve safety, quality, throughput, and cost, and provide technical leadership for capital planning and equipment selection.

Reporting to the SVP of Manufacturing, you will assess current practices, develop fit-for-purpose standards, collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and

Qualifications

• 8+ years in welding, fabrication, or manufacturing.
• Experience with welding equipment and capex projects.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Willingness to travel among Loenbro facilities.
• CWI or CWEng certification preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma or similar continuous-improvement training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead welding and fabrication technology initiatives across facilities.
• Develop and implement standardized best practices and capital plans.
• Assess cutting, material processing, and automation opportunities.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvements.
• Partner with Engineering and Productization to optimize manufacturability.
