Textron Systems is seeking a Weld Engineer II to oversee welding processes across the product lifecycle, from design to fulfillment. You will work with design teams to ensure manufacturability, document welding procedures, and drive process improvements for quality and safety.

The role requires 3+ years in quality, welding, or manufacturing, with knowledge of ISO 9001 and ability to read engineering drawings. Strong communication and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality, welding, or manufacturing roles.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards and programs.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsabilités

• Plans, organizes and directs the technical aspects of welding processes.
• Interface with design engineering to meet manufacturing requirements.
• Establishes welding processes per national/military standards.
• Develops improved processes and safety procedures.
• Identifies problems and provides resolutions for welding processes.
• Performs root cause analysis and process improvements.
• Develops quality plans with product-specific instructions and records.
• Reviews engineering and manufacturing documentation.
• Sets minimum quality standards, tests and process controls.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
