Manitou Group seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to plan, direct and coordinate manufacturing processes at the Madison, South Dakota plant. You will develop methods, establish materials and routings, and build fixtures to enable efficient production and cost control.

The role requires 1–2 years in fabrication/welding, a BS in Engineering or Manufacturing, and strong CAD/data analysis skills. Competitive salary, benefits and a performance bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing required.
• 1–2 years of fabrication and welding experience preferred.
• Excellent time management, mechanical aptitude and data analysis skills.
• Proficient with CAD software.

Responsabilités

• Plan, direct and coordinate manufacturing processes and projects.
• Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods.
• Establish bills of material, routings and work centers.
• Create instructions for new products to be manufactured.
• Process ECOs and implement changes to production methods.
• Study time and motion to improve efficiencies and costs.
• Consult with customers and staff on design and tooling.
• Estimate production times, staffing and related costs.
• Coordinate with management on capacity and schedules.
