Job summary

Manitou Group, located in Madison, South Dakota, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to plan, direct and coordinate manufacturing processes while optimizing resource use. You will oversee production tooling, fixtures and methods, ensuring products meet specifications and schedules.

Significant collaboration with engineering and operations is expected. Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in fabrication, welding and process development within production environments, plus a BS in Engineering

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering required.
• Strong mechanical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with CAD software and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods.
• Design fixtures, tooling and work centers for efficiency.
• Establish BOMs, routings and machine burdens.
• Create work instructions for new products and processes.
• Train others on new machinery and processes.
• Review equipment, recommend repairs or replacements.
• Propose new technologies to enhance production.
