Tournesol Siteworks is seeking a Welding Lead at our Port Orchard, WA facility. You will guide a small team, ensure safe and timely production, and work with CAD drawings to process standard and custom products for commercial construction.

The role requires a High School Diploma and 3 years welding experience. On-site, Monday–Friday with a 1:30pm–10pm shift; opportunity to participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives.

Formación

• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and production schedules.
• Operate forklift, electric pallet jacks and jib cranes safely.
• Understand inventory control and material flow.
• Read measuring tape and basic measuring tools accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead a team and work with others.
• Reliable transportation, regular attendance, and punctuality are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day production activities for a team of 5–8 employees.
• Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.
• Maintain production boards and communicate priorities and targets.
• Monitor performance against plan and take corrective action as needed.
• Balance workload among team members according to priorities and resources.
• Read and interpret production schedules, work orders, and drawings.
• Assist with processing materials for standard and custom products from CAD drawings.
• Identify and address routine obstacles to prevent delays.
• Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
