Qualifications

• Five years of full-time experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing track for a major railroad or transit authority.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in welding processes including SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and oxy-fuel.
• Maintain training records and evaluate employee progress.
• Ensure compliance with NYCT rules, procedures, safety standards, and curriculum.
• Inspect and maintain training equipment and facilities.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, safety, and training staff.
