ITW in the United States is seeking an Industrial Sales Manager for the North Georgia / Western North Carolina region. The role focuses on nurturing distributor relationships, growing welding product sales through distributors, and expanding market share with strategic end users.

You will design distributor training, build account plans, manage a robust sales pipeline, and deliver value propositions to decision makers while traveling 50%+ to meet customers and demos.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience; selling on value and demonstrating commercial & industrial products.
• Experience with distribution channels.
• Technical aptitude to sell a full product portfolio.
• Ability to build effective account plans, manage sales opportunities, and account management.
• Strong ability to communicate the value offering to all levels of end user management.
• Strong value selling skills with the ability to convert new business.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Strong communication, presentation, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel overnight at least 50%.

Responsibilities

• Foster strong distributor relationships that advocate for and drive growth.
• Design and execute distributor training programs.
• Devise account plans with strategic end users and distributors to boost sales and market share.
• Manage a steady pipeline of sales opportunities, progressing prospects and tracking outcomes.

Education

Technical Certificate, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in a Technical or Business Discipline

3+ years of sales experience

Experience selling through distribution channels

Value selling and MS Office/CRM proficiency

Ability to travel 50%+ overnight
