Job summary

Encore Electric, Inc. is seeking a Welder Foreman to oversee the Prefab Support shop, ensuring smooth daily operations and providing the team with what they need to succeed.

You will assign projects, manage manpower, and enforce safety, QA/QC, and training. The role requires mentoring welders and coordinating fabrication estimates while supporting ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; welding codes experience preferred.
• Ability to mentor welders to pass certification tests is strongly preferred.
• Must work safely and lead the team in a fabrication environment.

Responsibilities

• Assign projects to the team and maintain manpower needs.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure QA/QC across fabrication.
• Enforce safety policies and provide New Hire Orientation.
• Puts together fabrication estimates and perform material take-offs.
• Assist with projects when needed and keep shop organized.
