Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions in Southbridge, MA is seeking a Fabrication/Welding Foreman to lead field operations. This hands-on role requires welding and fabrication expertise, the ability to manage crews, and a focus on quality and safety on busy job sites.

You will plan daily operations, coordinate with project managers and customers, train team members, and drive OSHA compliance while delivering projects on time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Foreman, Supervisor, or Lead in welding/fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Cored welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Proven experience leading crews and managing field or shop work.
• Hands-on fabrication, installation, or industrial work in the metal industry.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in shop or outdoor environments in varying conditions
• Ability to operate tools, welding equipment, and machinery safely
• Combination of shop and field work
• Physical, active role (lifting, climbing, equipment use)
• Exposure to industrial conditions and outdoor environments as needed
