Job summary

• 1-2 years welding and cutting experience or completion of a technical training program.
• Knowledge of MIG/ARC and stick welding is preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift/skid steer safely.
• Basic understanding of OSHA safety standards and shop safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, grinding, cutting, torching, drilling, and fabrication work on containers and fleet vehicles.
• Weld steel using MIG and ARC welding equipment and fabricate steel components.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and complete required paperwork in company systems.
• Interact professionally with customers, coworkers, and management; assist in other shop areas as needed.
