Job summary

Rumpke of Ohio, Inc. is seeking a Welder to repair and fabricate steel components for containers and compactors in our shop and on-site work. You will weld, cut, grind, and assemble parts using MIG/ARC equipment, plasma cutters, and hand tools.

Candidates should have welding experience or formal training, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• One year welding and cutting experience or completion of a technical training program preferred.
• Knowledge of MIG, ARC and stick welding is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, grinding, cutting, drilling and fabrication on containers and equipment.
• Operate plasma cutter and cutting tools to shape steel components.
• Weld steel using MIG and ARC processes and fabricate components on containers.
• Maintain clean, safe shop area per ANSI/OSHA standards.
• Install lids, wheels, and lock setups on containers; assist with installations.
• Complete required paperwork using company systems.
