Job summary

IES Freeman West facility in Texas is seeking skilled Welder/Fabricators to join our team. This role focuses on MIG and Flux Core welding on aluminum, steel, and stainless steel, requiring at least 1 year of welding/fabricating experience and the ability to perform weld tests and read tape measures.

Candidates must be comfortable working at heights on platform ladders and scissor lifts, and able to read blueprints for precise fabrication and assembly work.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of welding/fabricating experience.
Must be able to perform weld tests.
Must read tape measures and interpret measurements.
Work at heights on platform ladders and scissor lifts.

Responsibilities

MIG & Flux Core welding on aluminum, steel and stainless components.
Structural and sheet metal welding including fabrication work.
Fabrication of custom components with dimensional accuracy.
Read blueprints and tape measures to determine welding requirements.
Operate platform ladders and scissor lifts safely at heights.
