Job summary

IES is seeking skilled Welders/Fabricators to join Freeman West. The role focuses on MIG and Flux Core welding with aluminum, steel, and stainless components.

A minimum of 1 year of welding/fabrication experience is required, and candidates will be tested on weld quality and measurements. Responsibilities include fabricating custom components, interpreting blueprints, reading tape measures, and working at heights on ladders and scissor lifts in elevated areas.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of welding/fabrication experience.
• Proficiency in MIG and Flux Core welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and tape measures.
• Comfort working at heights on ladders and scissor lifts.

Responsibilities

• MIG & Flux Core: weld aluminum, steel and stainless components with precision.
• Structural & sheet metal welding of heavy tubing and 14 gauge components.
• Fabricate custom components to exact dimensions and design specs.
• Read blueprints/schematics to determine welding requirements; measure materials.
• Work at heights using platform ladders and scissor lifts to access elevated areas.
