Job summary

Graham Manufacturing is seeking a skilled welder to set up, fit, clamp, bolt and tack weld diversified structural assemblies per drawings and specifications. The role requires reading blueprints, knowledge of welding techniques, and the ability to maintain quality while minimizing heat distortion.

The ideal candidate will operate related equipment, supervise helpers as needed, and commit to overtime when required to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of welding processes and codes.
• Competent in use of material handling equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, fit, clamp, bolt and tack weld diversified structural assemblies per drawings and specs.
• Direct or perform cutting and fitting of openings and nozzles.
• Position and align components to minimize heat distortion and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Repair and straighten damaged parts and fabricate fixtures as needed.
• Observe safety practices and maintain a clean work area.
