Job summary

Graham Manufacturing is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to read drawings and specifications, fit and tack weld large structural weldments, and ensure dimensional accuracy on a second shift. You will work with jibs, cranes, and fixtures, aligning parts to tight tolerances while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires reading blueprints, performing open cuts, and collaborating with a supervision team to produce precise welds and assemblies.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints, specs and codes.
• Directing or performing openings cuts and welds.
• Capable of using measuring tools and fixtures.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, specs, and codes.
• Directs or performs openings cutouts.
• Fit up and tack weld nozzles, plates and reinforcements.
• Set up fixtures to minimize heat distortion.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and comply with safety rules.
