Job summary

Graham Corporation in Batavia, NY is seeking a Set Up worker to assemble and weld structural components per drawings and codes. You will read blueprints, set up fixtures, tack weld, and guide helpers while maintaining quality and safety on a four 10-hour shift schedule with a $3.00/hour differential.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and welding experience; familiarity with material handling equipment is required. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, fits, clamps, bolts and tack welds assemblies per drawings and specs.
• Directs or performs cutting of openings and fixtures as required.
• Reads blueprints and work instructions and follows safety procedures.
• Ensures weld dimensions and tolerances; maintains quality and cleanliness.
