Job summary

Venteon is seeking a Welding Engineer for the Britton, Michigan area. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive compensation, bonus potential, good benefits, paid holidays and paid vacation.

The role focuses on developing welding technologies for new products, specifying equipment, and supporting operations with welding process optimization and troubleshooting. Strong MIG/spot welding, BIW experience, and leadership capabilities are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years related experience or equivalent.
• Intermediate MS Office skills.
• Experience with MQ1 and QAD Database.
• Demonstrates cooperation and commitment.
• Adaptive to a fast-paced environment.
• Mechanical ability.

Responsibilities

• Develop new welding technologies for product requirements.
• Specify welding equipment, consumables, and robotic systems.
• Assist in weld quality control process development.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem solving (8-D, meetings).
• Support tool trials at supplier and internal capability runs.
• Assist with plant floor welding equipment integration and startup.
