Job summary

North American Stamping Group in the United States seeks a Weld & Automation Technician to support robotic welding, resistance welding, and automated assembly equipment in the ABW department. You will maintain production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and help minimize downtime on third shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Experience with robotic welding equipment and automated assembly is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MIG and resistance welding processes; PLC basics beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for robotic welding, resistance welding, MIG welding, and automated assembly equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, robotic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial robots used in welding and automated assembly.
• Diagnose recurring equipment and process failures and implement corrective actions.
• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and equipment schematics.
