RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC seeks a Weld Engineer to develop and sustain welding and additive manufacturing processes in our Spring Grove facility. You will lead program certification efforts, support welders on the floor, and collaborate with NDT and materials teams to ensure product quality and process control.

You will interpret customer specs, author procedures, and drive improvements while guiding cross-functional teams through problem solving and corrective actions.

Formación

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in weld engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of weld engineering or additive manufacturing experience.
• Experience building and maintaining certified weld programs.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and own welding/AM programs (AWS, ASME and others).
• Provide on-floor support to welders and engineering team in welding and additive processes.
• Work with NDT to develop and sustain weld inspection programs.
• Develop and implement manufacturing procedures for welding and additive manufacturing.
• Prepare customer-facing work procedures for new or repaired products.
• Review material/process data to ensure quality and adjust practices as needed.
• Interpret specifications and communicate requirements to teams.
• Teach welding concepts to staff and shop employees.
• Troubleshoot and apply scientific problem solving to issues.
