Job summary

AT&F in Cleveland seeks a Welder to build submarine-grade fabrications. You will weld carbon, stainless, and high alloy steels and interpret blueprints to meet strict tolerances. The role includes various shifts, lean manufacturing practices, and a full benefits package.

Experience with FCAW and GMAW spray transfer is preferred. Expect collaborative work with weld engineering and operations to deliver critical components for naval, defense, energy, and aerospace markets.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Experience welding carbon, stainless, or high alloy steels.
• Experience with FCAW and GMAW spray transfer.
• Experience welding thick to thin structural members.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Weld various parts in different materials.
• Conduct dimensional inspections of parts and verify quality requirements.
• Understand and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with Operations and Weld Engineering on projects.
• Grinding, sanding, and cutting (oxy fuel and hand plasma).
• Adhere to lean manufacturing, quality, and safety programs.
• Perform general welding and shop duties as needed.
