BAE Systems, Inc. in Louisville, KY is seeking a Production Welder to join our weekday 1st shift team. You will weld steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, read blueprints, and ensure quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will operate a variety of welding equipment, maintain safe work practices per OSHA, and contribute to continuous improvements while meeting tight tolerances on complex parts.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years welding experience.
• Ability to read specifications and blueprints.
• Experience with GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, SAW processes.
• Ability to set up and operate fabrication and welding equipment including band saw, plasma, etc.
• Ability to weld in all positions and materials.
• Pass written exam on workmanship specs and visual inspection.
• Familiar with algebra/geometry in blueprint dimensions.

Responsabilidades

• Perform precise welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Read blueprints and drawings to plan layouts.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment.
• Inspect welds for quality and safety.
• Maintain clean work area and follow OSHA safety guidelines.
• Assist with ancillary tasks as needed.
