Job summary

AT&F is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our fabrication team in Cleveland, OH. You will review engineering prints, select tooling, and operate large machining centers (VTL/HBM) to produce complex components for defense, shipbuilding, and industrial use.

You will edit CNC programs, perform setups, inspect parts with hand gauges or CMM, and mentor junior machinists. Expect competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and ample opportunities for growth within a long-standing metals fabrication

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in component CNC machining.
• Ability to interpret blueprint/drawing specifications and GD&T.
• Experience with inspection methods (hand gages, CMM).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Siemens, and G code programming.

• Ability to run large machining centers either VTL or HBM.

The Goals and Challenges of this Role:

• Review engineering prints, select and acquire appropriate tooling.
• Ability to run large machining centers either VTL or HBM
• Edit and maintain CNC programs

• Train and develop less experienced AT&F machinists.

What You Should Bring to this Role:

• Preferred 3 years experience of experience in component CNC machining.
• Dealt with lower run quantities per part.
• Ability to interpret blueprint/drawing specifications and GD&T.
• Applied experience with various inspection methods (hand gages, CMM, etc.)
• Proven ability to develop the machining skills of others.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Siemens, and G code programming.
• Overhead crane operation and rigging experience
• Basic computer skills for email, web-based communications.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour.
This range reflects the minimum and maximum for the role. Starting pay depends on your skills, experience, and ability to perform the job.
