Job summary

AT&F is seeking a Project Manager (Manufacturing) in Cleveland, OH to guide complex fabrications for submarines and related projects. You will liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate information transfer and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates will have an associate degree, welding/fabrication background, and experience with ERP systems. This is a full-time on-site role with competitive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; bachelor's preferred.
• Experience reading drawings, technical documents, and specifications.
• Analytical skills to evaluate detailed specs.
• Strong time management with fixed deadlines on multiple projects.
• Background in fabrication and welding; medium to large weldments preferred.
• Machining experience beneficial.
• Experience with cutting processes (Oxyfuel and plasma).
• Experience using ERP systems to manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ongoing customer contact to ensure correct information translation to fabrication team.
• Prepare work instructions for fabrications including burning, forming, welding, and machining.
• Expedite jobs through the build process.
• Review and understand code and contract requirements.
• Analyze inquiries to determine quote requirements and costs.

The Goals And Challenges Of This Role

• Ongoing customer contact to ensure that the correct information is received and then translated so that the fabrication team will be successful in the build
• Preparing work instructions to build fabrications that include burning, forming, welding, and machining
• Expediting jobs through the build process
• Reviewing and understanding code and contract requirements
• Analyze inquiries to determine requirements for preparation of quote
• Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements
• Maintain sales orders and jobs in ERP System (Epicor)

What You Should Bring To This Role

• Minimum of an Associates Degree (Bachelors preferred)
• Experienced in reading and analyzing drawings, technical documents and specifications
• Analytical skills – accurately evaluate detailed specifications
• Time management skills – fixed deadlines on multiple projects
• Experienced in reading and analyzing drawings, technical documents and specifications.
• Background in fabrication and welding required, preferably with medium to large weldments in a job shop type environment.
• Experience in machining preferred.
• Experience with cutting process (Oxyfuel and plasma)
• Experience in the application and utilization of ERP systems or other computer systems used to manage projects
