Welder Repair Technician-Customer Service

Job Summary

This is an entry-level repair technician position. No welding experience required. Learn to service and repair portable gas-driven equipment and other machinery. Process incoming and completed repairs, ensuring all paperwork is correctly filled out.

Duties Include

• Processing incoming and completed repairs, including paperwork.
• Loading/unloading rentals and returns, checking for damage and functionality (including gas-driven rental equipment).
• Servicing portable gas-driven equipment.
• Adapting to changing work priorities, meeting deadlines, working independently or with interruptions, and complying with safety and operational requirements.
• Maintaining attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License.
• Mechanical and electrical training preferred.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet objectives with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Organizational, reasoning, and time management skills.
• Ability to pass drug and background checks.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected salary: $20.00/hr, DOE, range $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Oxarc offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, life insurance, 401(k) with match, paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, and additional voluntary benefits. Benefits activate generally after 90 days of employment.
