Job summary

Menk USA is seeking a motivated Welder for our 3rd shift to join our manufacturing team. You will perform MIG and TIG welding on transformer components while upholding safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, operating cutting equipment, inspecting welds, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. High-school diploma or GED required; some welding experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Two years of manufacturing or welding experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Operate oxy-fuel/torch cutting equipment to cut, repair, and modify materials.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, weld symbols, and production documentation.
  • Inspect finished weldments using precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
  • Repair defective welds and replace components as needed.
  • Maintain quality standards while meeting production schedules.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
